We are currently looking for Project and Operations Administrators to join the Institute’s Project Management team to support a variety of cutting-edge research, analysis and advisory projects within the continuously expanding portfolios of ODI’s programmes. The Administrators will provide administrative, logistics, event management, and secretarial support to projects and programmes at ODI, supporting project teams during the full project management cycle.

The key responsibilities include:

  • raising contracts for institutional partners and external consultants,

  • tracking and processing supplier invoices and staff expenses

  • supporting the set-up of donors, partners and consultants in ODI’s project and financial management system

  • assisting in the drafting of proposals and bids

  • supporting Project officers and Managers in the monitoring of workplans and the delivery of outputs, including narrative and financial reports

  • coordinate logistics for internal and external events

  • support projects closure and audits

About you

· Experience of project administration (including financial administration)

  • High level of numeracy
  • Strong organisational skills and self-motivation
  • IT skills, to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to learn to use new software quickly
  • Data management skills
  • High standard of written and verbal communication
  • Multitasking capabilities
  • Ability to work to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • A-Levels or NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience
