We are currently looking for a Project Administrator to join ODI’s Project Management team to support a variety of cutting-edge research, analysis and advisory projects. The Administrator will provide administrative, logistics, event management, and secretarial support to projects within the Development and Public Finance programme, supporting project teams during the full project management cycle.
ODI’s Development and Public Finance (DPF) programme conducts research and advisory work on how governing bodies can best use their scarce resources to support prosperous and fairer societies.
The key responsibilities include:
tracking and processing supplier invoices and staff expenses
raising purchase orders for project suppliers and partners
raising contracts for institutional partners and external consultants,
supporting the set-up of donors, partners and consultants in ODI’s project and financial management system
assisting in the drafting of proposals and bids
supporting Project officers and Managers in the monitoring of workplans and the delivery of outputs, including narrative and financial reports
coordinating logistics for internal and external events
supporting projects closure and audits
About you
Experience of project administration (including financial administration)
High level of numeracy
Strong organisational skills and self-motivation
IT skills, to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Ability to learn to use new software quickly
Data management skills
High standard of written and verbal communication
Multitasking capabilities
Ability to work to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
A-Levels or NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience
