ODI is an independent, global think tank. We work to inspire people to act on injustice and inequality. Through research, convening and influencing, we generate ideas that matter for people and planet.
About the role

The Senior Communications Manager is central to ensuring ODI’s public affairs and communications activities are strategic, properly planned and resourced, and excellently managed from conception through to delivery. Management and strategic planning of outputs and staff are a key focus for this role.
The Senior Communications Manager works closely with Directors of Programmes and key researchers to provide strategic communications advice and guidance to ODI’s priority projects and to inform planning and resourcing in significant project bids and proposals.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the PAC annual plan and budget, overseeing day to day activity planning and capacity tracking, as well as having oversight of staff deployment to PAC activities.
