ODI is the UK’s leading independent think tank on international development and humanitarian issues.
Climate change and the environment at ODI has grown significantly in the last four years, with interest in climate change in almost every programme in the Institute. the BRACED Knowledge Manager (a consortium of organisations delivering evidence and learning for climate resilience), which works to build evidence on what works to strengthen resilience and to improve policies and programmes by getting that evidence into use.
We are looking for a project assistant to provide administrative and coordination support for the Programme Management Unit of the BRACED Knowledge Manager.
Your responsibilities will include administration and tracking of BRACED management and communication projects. Key responsibilities will be:
Assisting the project manager in drafting and tracking of milestones and deliverables for 7 consortium partner organisations
Supporting internal knowledge sharing processes with the BRACED Knowledge Manager consortium
Supporting the production of knowledge management and PR materials
You will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
- Excellent written English and communication skills (essential)
Interest in climate and development issues (essential)
Outstanding people skills and a friendly outgoing personality (essential)
Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask (essential)
The ability to work to strict deadlines (essential)
Experience providing administrative support in a project environment (desirable)
French language skills (desirable)
