Finance Department develops and implements dynamic and future focused financial strategies to support ODI, while maintaining financial oversight and administration in managing ODI’s financial affairs. Our aims are to deliver quality financial information and a high standard of support to Programmes.
We are seeking to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead the FP&A and Finance System teams. You will take ownership for all financial planning & analysis process including budgeting, forecasting, analysis and management reporting as well as Finance System functionality. The FP&A Manager will need to work closely with Programmes in order to ensure accurate financial information is produced for decision making. This role will lead and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and associated systems, processes and policies.
About you
- Significant knowledge and experience:
o Preferably qualified with a recognised accounting professional body such as CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA
- Experience of setting up and implementing forecast processes would be beneficial
o Current knowledge of relevant accounting standards, and development and issues affecting the sector
o Experience of implementation of enterprise applications for supporting research, learning and business activities
o Experience of Senior analyst/consultant, with high level of expertise in information technologies, and financial business processes and policies, able to influence Senior Managers
· Ability to assimilate, analyse and present financial data to a high level of accuracy
· Strategic thinking and collaborative strategy development
· Effective teamwork, inter-personal and collaboration skills
· Values-driven and exceptional integrity, including ensuring a safe working environment and equal opportunities for all
· Excellent written and oral communications skills
