Finance Department develops and implements dynamic and future focused financial strategies to support ODI, while maintaining financial oversight and administration in managing ODI’s financial affairs. Our aims are to deliver quality financial information and a high standard of support to Programmes.

We are seeking to appoint one Finance Assistant to join the Financial Control team. Reporting to Finance Manager, you will take ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. You will also support end users to drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and associated systems, processes and policies. This is a great opportunity allowing you to combine work, study and training. Through an apprenticeship you gain the technical knowledge, practical experience and wider skill you need for your immediate job and future career.

About you

§ Preferably A levels, but good passes at GCSE exams particularly in Maths and English will be considered.

§ High level of numeracy

§ Effective teamwork, inter-personal and collaboration skills

§ Ability to prioritise and organise work effectively and meet deadlines

§ Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with a wide range of people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
