We are seeking to appoint an Operations and Partnerships Manager to join ALNAP. The Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP) is a system-wide network organisation dedicated to improving the accountability and performance of humanitarian action by strengthening the humanitarian evidence base through sharing lessons, identifying key issues and, where appropriate, providing leadership to find collective approaches and solutions. About you
The Operations and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient running of the ALNAP Secretariat. This includes the smooth management of work plans, budgets, reporting, ALNAP operations team members and external partnerships, including ALNAP Member organisations and other stakeholders. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing business development processes, and for tracking and actively managing finances. They will be responsible for managing the Operations Team, and for developing and maintaining management and administrative systems that enable the well-functioning of the Secretariat. They will lead on the coordination and management of our partnerships with ALNAP Members and donors, and for supporting effective delivery of ALNAP’s annual workplan and providing strong project management capacities to our priority workstreams.
The successful candidate will be someone with outstanding organisational skills and significant experience in managing programme finances and management systems. They will bring experience of dealing with donors and will be confident in engaging with a range of stakeholders. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and derive significant satisfaction from enabling teams to work efficiently and effectively in delivery of their mandate.
