Fixed-term contract until 31 December 2018

Salary: £27,601 – £32,925 per annum

About us

ODI (www.odi.org.uk) aims to inspire and inform policy and practice to reduce poverty by locking together high-quality applied research and practical policy advice.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Officer to join the Social Protection Programme and the Secure Livelihoods Research Consortium.

The Project Officer will provide administrative and financial project management support to research staff on a wide range of projects. As well as providing general support, the successful candidate will facilitate information flow both internally, between the project teams, SP/ SLRC and other ODI departments, and externally with a variety of stakeholders.

If you have excellent organisational and administrative skills, meticulous attention to detail and strong experience in monitoring budgets, this may be the job for you. You must also have communication experience including website development and management skills, good proofreading and editing skills, and the ability to manage a large workload often to tight deadlines. A background and interest in international development is desirable.
